27 June 2023, Penang – DISTED College, Penang, is pleased to announce the expansion of its strategic partnership with Heriot-Watt University Malaysia (HWUM). This collaboration will now include an articulation pathway for Diploma students, enabling them to seamlessly continue their degree programmes at the HWUM campus in Putrajaya.
Under this new agreement, students enrolled in the Diploma in Business Studies, Diploma in Accounting and Diploma in Computer Studies at DISTED College will have the opportunity to articulate into the third year of various Degree programmes offered by HWUM. These programmes include MA (Hons) International Business Management, MA (Hons) Accounting and Business Finance, MA (Hons) Business and Finance, and BSc (Hons) Computer Science.
Professor Dr. Vikneswaran Nair, President of DISTED College, expressed his delight, stating, “I am thrilled that, after an extensive process, we have solidified this collaboration, which will provide our students with a seamless transition to further their education at Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.”
Earlier this month, DISTED College introduced CoL2abz, an immersive learning hub dedicated to embracing the challenges and opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) and harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (AI).
