A collaboration event between DISTED College & University of Canterbury, NZ took place recently with the event titled “Malaysia and New Zealand: Enhancing Student Mobility Towards Solving Future Global Challenges”.

This eventful event took place at DISTED’s Heritage Hall and was held in the morning. We were graced by the presence of our Penang Chief Minister, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, CEO of DISTED College, Prof Dr Brian Imrie, NZ High Commissioner, Her Excellency Pam Dunn and Think New – A New Zealand Education Regional Director Asia, Mr Ben Burrowes.

Also present for this event to make it more meaningful is the President of DISTED College, Prof Dr Vikneswaran Nair, Ms Siti Karina from University of Canterbury as well as Press Media representatives and staffs of DISTED College. We look forward to a fruitful and long-term collaboration together.

In the afternoon, we were fortunate enough to be given a talk by Ms Siti Karina from University of Canterbury. The talk was titled “Take a New Look at New Zealand Education”. The talk was attended by many as attendees were given an exposure of what it is like to be progressing their further education to New Zealand.
