Both of DISTED students, Calvin Ooi Chao Syhuan and Elizabeth Khoo Woon Lynn were awarded with the Outstanding Learner Award for Pearson BTEC (Business & Technology Education Council) Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business qualification – Distinction at the Pearson Outstanding Learner Awards Ceremony 2018 held at Le Maridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 29th September. On top of that, DISTED College was presented an appreciation certificate from Pearson for having successfully administered the BTEC programme for 3 years running.
The BTEC is a work-related qualification that places emphasis on assignments, projects and practical learning and is globally recognised in both the education and corporate sectors as a preferred qualification.
