DISTED College Hari Raya Open House 2024 took place in our Heritage Hall. It boasted high staff participation and a delectable spread prepared by the Human Resource and Administration Department. Emcees Jesscia and Grace greeted attendees, directing them to tables seating a maximum of ten. Jesscia hinted at post-lunch activities, teasing a surprise for this year’s event.
While Best Dressed Female and Male awards were individual, others were group prizes. To foster teamwork, the usual individual Kahoot game was replaced with a group competition, encouraging collaboration across departments. Adding flair to the festivities, staff were challenged to perform a group rendition of “ALAMAK Raya Lagi” at the hall’s centre.
Two groups showcased their creativity, infusing elements from diverse cultures like India and Japan. The group “Kasturi” won in the Kahoot game, while the group “Satay” triumphed in the performance. The emcees closed the event with gratitude to all participants, hoping everyone relished the celebration.
