DISTED’s School of Psychology, in collaboration with Early Autism Project Malaysia and Lions REACh, co-organised a “Cheque Donation Presentation” on June 18, 2023, to support the special needs population. The event raised RM4,331.28 in donations, a testament to the community’s unwavering commitment and compassion for inclusivity. The School of Psychology expresses heartfelt gratitude to all the volunteers, donors, sponsors, and attendees who contributed to this remarkable achievement. Their dedication, selflessness, and belief in the power of inclusivity have impacted the lives of individuals with special needs.  The charity event has sparked meaningful conversations within the community, highlighting the importance of unity and inclusivity.

This event is not just about monetary donations; it symbolises unity, compassion, and the transformative power of collective action. It serves as a potent reminder that when we come together as a community, extraordinary things can be accomplished. By supporting special needs children and their families, we provide them with vital resources and support for their growth and well-being. Let us be inspired by the profound impact we can make when we unite, and may this event catalyse future endeavours that bring positive change to our community.
