This section consists of relevant sites of high quality that are available free of charge via the Internet. It has been created to reduce the level of frustration of DISTED Library users in their struggle to identify Internet resources that are comprehensive, up to date and authoritative.
- Google Book Search
This website allows you search inside millions of books. Besides being able to see basic bibliographic information about the book you can also see a few sentences showing your search term in context. If the book is out of copyright, viewers are able to view and download the entire book. - Google Scholar
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. - Wikipedia
