On the 30th of March 2024, DISTED College proudly hosted a Blood Donation Drive with esteemed partners – Kek Lok Si Charitable Hospital, Penang General Hospital, Bomba, and YMM. The event witnessed many donors stepping forward, with staff and students from the School of Psychology taking the lead in coordinating the event with dedicated volunteers from the hospitals. From 9.00am to 4.00pm, the college campus buzzed with activity as eager participants queued up to contribute to this noble cause. Additionally, the event was not just about blood donation; it also featured station games and various health awareness booths, adding a touch of fun and education to the day.
Notably, the success of the Blood Donation Campaign at DISTED College underscores the importance of collective efforts in promoting healthcare and saving lives. The enthusiastic response from the community was a testament to the awareness and understanding of the significance of blood donation.
