The 21st<\/sup>\u00a0Century Young Entrepreneurs Challenge organised by DISTED School of Business and Administration is a 1-day business competition for secondary school students including Form 6 students. This free-to-attend event offers the opportunity for young people to develop their transferable skills, business knowledge and develop experience in the field of enterprise. The school aims to encourage young people\u2019s entrepreneurship and cultivate creativity, innovation and team work in a practical way. The event will take place on Saturday, 22 June 2019.<\/p>\n

The event was well received with 55 eligible participants from 8 schools competed for the championship. The challenge comprise of 3 different activities namely Treasure Hunt, Quiz and Physical Challenge. These activities were designed to est on participants\u2019 transferable skills in problem solving, entrepreneurial knowledge and qualities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe challenges are designed to give the participants an opportunity to learn the real-world business, and explore the wild west of entrepreneurship,\u201d Dr Gwee Sai Ling, Head of School of Business and Administration said.<\/p>\n

Han Chiang High School emerged as the champion team and walked away with RM20,000 worth of DISTED Scholarship.<\/p>\n

The 1st Runner Up went to Kolej Tingkatan 6 Zainul Abidin.<\/p>\n

SMJK Heng Ee won third place in the challenge.<\/p>\n
