{"id":1145,"date":"2018-07-18T15:22:44","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T07:22:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.disted.edu.my\/?p=1145"},"modified":"2018-11-26T14:51:00","modified_gmt":"2018-11-26T06:51:00","slug":"national-olympiad-mathematics-competition-omk-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.disted.edu.my\/zh\/national-olympiad-mathematics-competition-omk-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"National Olympiad Mathematics Competition (OMK) 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Persatuan Sains Matematik Malaysia (PERSAMA) held its annual National Olympiad Mathematics Competition (OMK), with the competition format requiring all contestants to undergo the competition in the respective states.<\/p>\n<p>The annual competition consists of 3 categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Kategori Bongsu (for\u00a0students\u00a0from\u00a0High School\u00a0Form 1 and Form 2)<\/li>\n<li>Kategori Muda (for students\u00a0from High School\u00a0Form 3 and Form 4)<\/li>\n<li>Ketegori Sulong (for students\u00a0from High School\u00a0Form 5 &amp; 6 \/ Matriculation \/ equivalent level of studies)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Up to 40 excellent OMK contestants will be shortlisted\u00a0for selection to\u00a0participate in the\u00a0IMO (International Mathematical Olympiad) intensive camps.
