Studying at DISTED was more than just sitting in a classroom. The programme combines strong theory with practical learning. The labs are well-equipped, and we had full access to tools and software that made learning coding and networking more realistic. I\u2019m especially grateful to the lecturers \u2014 they constantly encouraged us to take on new challenges. Participating in both the Jabil Bootcamp and Schola Hackathon gave me industry-level exposure. These experiences boosted my confidence and showed me that I\u2019m capable of solving real tech problems. Make most of every opportunity. My experience in the Foundation in Science program has been both enriching and supportive. The college provides a quiet and conducive learning environment, free from overcrowding, which allows me to focus fully on my studies. Studying Psychology at DISTED, in collaboration with HELP University, has been among my most meaningful decisions to date. While I have work experience, I decided to pursue Psychology as a second degree as a fresh path, one that connects with my own experiences, interest in mental health and Psychology-related postgraduate programmes.<\/p>

HELP is one of the earliest pioneers of Psychology in Malaysia. As such, their Psychology syllabus combines strong academic foundations with practical application. You don\u2019t just learn theory, you learn to also think critically and reflect deeply. Learning about research has also been eye-opening. You begin to probe, analyse evidence and appreciate how research underpins everything we know about human behaviour.<\/p>

The lecturers at DISTED make the learning experience even more engaging. Their guidance, enthusiasm and approachability create a supportive environment that really helps students grow. Beyond the classroom, opportunities to join clubs, events and mental health initiatives have made my time here even more rewarding.<\/p>

For me, DISTED\/HELP\u2019s Psychology degree is not just about gaining clarity, new perspectives but a gateway into the fascinating world of Psychology. Studying in DISTED College gave me an experience that I wouldn\u2019t be able to get outside in any other colleges or universities. It prepared me to face challenges in my life and taught me the skills and guidance to thrive in life. The lecturers were my second family and DISTED was my second home. Kind and understanding lecturers helped ease the learning process. They\u2019re always there to guide me when I\u2019m lost. Apart from that, meeting new friends in DISTED College who aided me in my studies also played a huge role in my journey in DISTED. I\u2019m very grateful for DISTED College and the people I\u2019ve met here. This journey in DISTED will be one unforgettable one in my life. As a Year 2 student in the Bachelor of Psychology program at DISTED College, I feel fortunate to be part of a learning environment that not only provides knowledge but also encourages growth and reflection. My journey so far has been both rewarding and meaningful.<\/p>

What I enjoy most about psychology is learning about behavior, personality, and the human mind. Understanding why people think, feel, and act the way they do has always fascinated me, and the courses I have taken have provided valuable insights into these areas in theory and practice.<\/p>

One of the key learnings I have gained is a stronger understanding of human behavior and personality. Topics such as personality, motivation, and cognition have not only strengthened my academic knowledge but also helped me grow personally. I have become more empathetic, open-minded, and reflective in the way I view myself and others.\u00a0<\/p>

I am grateful for the support of my lecturers, who provide consistent guidance and encouragement, as well as my peers, who foster a positive and collaborative environment. Together, they have made my studies engaging and impactful.<\/p>

Overall, this program has built my confidence, strengthened my critical thinking, and encouraged self-reflection. I highly recommend it to anyone passionate about understanding people and the mind.
