Programme Overview

DISTED has been successfully conducting the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE International) programme since 1987. The programme is your gateway to university studies worldwide. It provides the pathway to a broad spectrum of undergraduate studies including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, engineering, biotechnology, computer science, law, business, mass communications and other programmes.
Intake Dates 2024 :

The SACE International has both the 12 or 18 months stream available.

Study Pathway

Minimum Entry Requirements

Science Stream

  • SPM: 5 Credits with Passes in relevant Science subjects, Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • IGCSE O-Level: 5 Credits with Passes (Grade E) in relevant Science subjects and English
  • UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B) with Passes in the relevant Science subjects and English

Arts Stream

  • SPM: 5 Credits in any subjects with a Pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • IGCSE O-Level: 5 Credits in any subjects with a Pass (Grade E) in English
  • UEC: 3 Credits (Grade B) with a Pass in English

For pursuing selected degree programmes, the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) prescribes the following SPM grades:

Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government

  • Medicine: 5 Bs in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and another subject, with Credits in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Dentistry & Pharmacy: 5 Bs in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or another technical subject, with Passes in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Science : 5 Credits including Mathematics and 2 Science subjects, with Passes in Bahasa Malaysia and English
  • Engineering: 5 Credits including Mathematics and 1 Science subject
  • Built Environment: 5 Credits including Mathematics
  • Allied Health Sciences: 5 Credits including 3 from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English
