Visit to Bank Negara Malaysia, Penang Branch

A total of 39 students comprise of 23 students from Diploma of Business Studies and 16 students from Diploma of Accounting visit Bank Negara Malaysia Penang Branch.

The visit provides students the opportunity to understand our central bank of Malaysia’s role and responsibilities especially the function to stabilise the national economy and currencies supply.

Students were briefed about the differences of functions and roles between BNM and other commercial banks as well as development banks by exemplifying the real time issues.

In addition, students were thoroughly explained how independent of #BNM towards stabilising the growth of our national economy by manipulating the interest rate to sterilise stock market and to stabilise the value of currency.
