This Staffordshire University Business Information Systems Management degree is an excellent British IT degree that is well recognised in both Malaysia and abroad for job opportunities in a wide variety of employment sectors. All courses listed above are under the Staffordshire University curriculum structure and carries 15 credits except for those marked with * which are courses prescribed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Assessment System
Combination of assignments, projects, class tests, labs, presentations and examinations.

Duration of Study
Intakes are available in January and March, for a duration of 4 semesters over 2 years. As such, students are required to meet the minimum academic requirements to be eligible for advanced standing into the Level 5 of the degree programme. This programme is to be completed entirely at DISTED.

General Studies
Students are required to complete the compulsory General Studies prescribed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

DISTED Diploma in Business IT, DISTED Diploma in Computer Science or other equivalent MQA accredited diplomas with CGPA 2.5 and credit in SPM Mathematics: Eligible for advanced standing into the Level 5 of the degree programme.

Non-IT related diploma accredited by MQA: CGPA 2.5 and credit in SPM Mathematics.

Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

IELTS: Band 6
Pearson Test of English: 51
DISTED English Proficiency Test: 50%

Exemption may be granted to students who have satisfactorily completed a postsecondary studies programme that is fully conducted and assessed in English.

Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
