Through this year-long partnership, Team DISTED will guide the students (known as “Achievers”) in running their company, Altin Genofax, in a proper business cycle and managing their business in a profitable manner.

Mr Lee, who leads Team DISTED, is confident that the combined pool of capable DISTED advisors in their respective fields will contribute to the students’ understanding of the corporate world and success as budding entrepreneurs.

Commenting on DISTED’s participation in the programme, President Dr Seah Soo Aun hopes that Team DISTED, through its long-term efforts in guiding, engaging and educating the students, will make a lasting and positive impact on the students’ lives.

In February, Team DISTED participated in two YE Workshops – the Advisors’ Workshop on February 13 and the Achievers’ Workshop on February 25. The Advisors’ Workshop brought together the corporate and teacher advisors while the Achievers’ Workshop saw the “Achievers” attending a day-long hands-on workshop that taught them the know-hows of managing the full life-cycle of a business. The 2015 YE Programme attracted participation from 16 sponsor companies and schools in Penang.
