IELTS
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System.  

It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.

IELTS results are from Bands 1-9. Tertiary language requirement is Band 6 or 6.5 while for the diploma courses, the requirement is Band 5.

Course Structure
The IELTS Intensive Preparation Programme is specially designed to help students to be well-prepared for the IELTS test.

Participants will practise the four language skills ~ listening, speaking, reading and writing ~ which are required in the IELTS test.

Duration
4 weeks (120 contact hours)

Requirement
The minimum entry pre-requisite is IELTS Band 4-4.5.

Recommended Prior Course
Before pursuing this preparation programme, candidates are encouraged to first take up the DISTED English Enrichment Programme.
 

Examination Fee
The external IELTS examination fee is about RM530 or as determined by Cambridge ESOL.
