What You Study

BA(Hons) Accounting & Finance
This award is both a qualification in its own right and a stepping-stone to a professional accountancy qualification.

You will develop practical accounting skills and learn to produce financial accounts, interpret financial statements and also, acquire the skills necessary for management and financial decision-making in a modern business environment.

The degree provides excellent employment opportunities such as in financial services, banking, taxation, insurance and the public sector.

BA(Hons) Business Management
It gives the advantage of acquiring managerial skills and combining knowledge of all key business and management areas such as economics, finance, human resource, marketing and business law in developing enterprising managers.
 

 


BA(Hons) International Business Management
You will gain a broad business education with an international focus on all areas of business so as to equip you with the ability to communicate and succeed in a global market environment.

BA(Hons) Marketing Management
This award gives practical marketing skills, underpinned by an understanding of the wider business framework in commercial, industrial, professional and public sector organizations, for you to start a career in sales and marketing, advertising, public relations, brand management, retailing and general management.

The programme can be completed entirely at DISTED (3+0 option) or with one or two years of study in the United Kingdom at Staffordshire University.

Academic Requirements
DISTED Diploma in Business Studies or approved diplomas from other recognised institutions: Eligible for advanced standing into the Level 2 of the degree programme.

STPM/A-Level: 2 principals
UEC: 5 Bs
SAM/HSC/AUSMAT: ATAR 50

Other equivalent qualifications may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Forecast examination results are accepted for provisional admission.

English Language Proficiency Requirements
IELTS overall band 6 or higher or equivalent qualification.

May be exempted for students who have satisfactorily completed a post-secondary studies programme that is fully conducted and assessed in English.
